This site is written by a couple of editors, not staffed like a hotel concierge desk. There is no form to fill in, no ticket reference to track. An email address, and a person who actually reads it.

Good reasons to write to us:

• Details that no longer match. Every walk here is free and pay-what-you-want, so there is no price to go stale, but start times shift, meeting points move, and a guide occasionally hands a route to someone new. If a card here says a walk runs 2 hours and 15 minutes and the guide's GuruWalk page disagrees, flag it and we will correct it.
• A listing that has vanished, stopped taking bookings, or quietly changed what it is. A Montmartre walk that drops Sacré Coeur from its route, a Latin Quarter tour that switches from English-only to Spanish-only, or a history walk whose guide has been replaced all count. The length, the language and the ground covered are the things people book these tours for. When one of them changes, we treat it as a correction and make it the same day we verify it.
• A factual error anywhere on the site. The price of a Navigo Easy card versus a Navigo Découverte, which museums are permanently free rather than free on certain days, whether a church asks for a donation or an entry fee, and which arrondissement a neighbourhood actually sits in. Everything like this is checked against official and primary sources rather than operator marketing, and any of it can go stale.
• A guide whose walk is missing. If you run a free, pay-what-you-want walk in Paris and it has a real, bookable GuruWalk listing, with published details that hold still when read twice, send the link. We will read it the way we read every other walk. Nobody pays to be included, nobody can pay for a better position, and the answer turns only on whether the GuruWalk listing holds up.

Accuracy first. A wrong meeting point or a wrong start time can cost someone their only free afternoon in the city, so corrections are checked and posted quickly, usually within a day or two. General questions move slower, and some end up answered inside a guide rather than by email, so the next person wondering the same thing finds it already written. There is no newsletter, no follow-up selling, and your address never goes anywhere else.

The Limits Here

Reservations, waitlists, date changes, cancellations, tips: none of that happens on this site. Every walk listed here belongs to an independent local guide who runs it through GuruWalk and handles the money themselves. When you reserve a free spot, you do it on GuruWalk's own page for that walk, never here.

For anything tied to a booking you already made, start with your confirmation email. The reference number lives there, along with the meeting point and a way to reach the operator directly. That beats writing to us on the morning of the walk, and if a departure looks shaky, the operator's channel is the only one that can resolve it.

Two details worth pulling from your GuruWalk confirmation before you write to anyone. The meeting point first: Paris guides gather in specific spots, often near a metro station for neighbourhoods like Montmartre or the Latin Quarter, and the exact address for each departure sits on the guide's GuruWalk page, so check which one you chose before planning your route. Then the cancellation window: terms differ from walk to walk, and even a free, pay-what-you-want spot is a reservation that can be released, so read GuruWalk's own terms for that walk before and after booking. On both counts the guide's GuruWalk page is the authority.
